Mindaugas Juncys is a sculptor who plays with ideas of luxury and significance through his use of materials like marble and granite, creating pieces which look at the mundanity of contemporary life through a critical and ironic lens. By depicting these “mise en scenes” Juncy provokes his audience to engage, taking assessment of our desire for entertainment in the modern world.
Juncy is an artist who’s technical mastery has been recoginzed through his awarding of the 2010 "Sculpture of the Year" title and has had his works commissioned for Pope John Paul II and Lithuanian actor Donatas Banionis.

Art Gallery O-68 | Wieteke Heldens

Artist Wieteke Heldens creates works using abstract visual forms and processes to explore systems of meaning and states of matter. After an accident in her early 30s, Heldens found herself in hospital in a critical state. That’s when she started counting the colors she saw in her room. Once she was back in her studio, Heldens transferred her life-saving experience of counting colors into a new body of work- ‘Legends’
Wieteke Heldens will be displaying her most recent work from her “Still Counting” series, an evolution of the ‘Legends’ paintings, alongside Art Gallery O-68. Find her intriguing and inspiring paintings on stand B7.

Catalysta - Manuel Mera
Manuel Mera creates entrancing paintings evocative of retro, digital design. Mera states: “ "My works are reflections on humans dialoguing with
the‘multi-reality "of digital media in a world surrounded by scientific advances but full of
unresolved contradictions."

Stone Step Gallery - Paul Hughes
Artist Paul Hughes in his studio
Paul Hughes presents to us his series on understanding blue. A colour he describes as ‘the colour of logic, order, organisation.’ In a bid to reconcile with a color which goes against his values as an artist, Hughes stretches the confines of his artistic world. This new series of work, ‘Bastard Blue’, is love story to redefining expectations, in a bid to jump into the unknown.

Tracey Morgan Gallery - Kirsten Stolle

Using collage, text, and installation Kirsten Stolle examines the global influence of agrichemical companies on our food supply. These powerfully emotive pieces works to deconstruct marketing methods and invites the viewer to critically engage with industry propaganda.

With works which undulate between the recognizable and the ephemeral, photographic artist, Galina Kurlat creates pieces which discuss identity, intimacy, and uncertainty. Accepting the chaos which come hand in hand with photographic materials, Kurlat embraces the imperfections of process-based photography and traditional darkroom techniques.
With her ongoing investigation into the body, subjects range from figurative portraiture to abstractions made with saliva, hair, and nails. Creating pieces charged ambiguity and beauty. Experience these captivating pieces for yourself with treat gallery on stand A7.

Ashley Norwood Cooper creates intensely colored, dynamic and imaginative pieces which explores womanhood and the ordinary through a heroic and fantastical lens.
These thickly painted, tactile works draw you in with themes that touch close to home. From the tos and fros of contemporary domesticity, to the vexing societal issues that seep into our every day.
