Cincinnati Art Undergound
CINCINNATI, USA

Stand B03

Cincinnati Art Underground is a dynamic, contemporary art gallery that features new work by an up-and-coming roster of visionary artists. CAU gallery was founded in 2014, emerging from conversations within the local art community about creating an exhibition space that would give a wide range of emerging artists a platform to experiment and build deeper connections with new patrons and audiences. Beginning with pop-up shows and short- term exhibitions at various locations, CAU grew into a Main Street storefront gallery, offering a regular programme of exhibitions and artist talks in Cincinnati’s historic Over-the-Rhine neighbourhood.

In recent years, CAU has added appearances in Miami and New York, at SCOPE Miami Beach and VOLTA New York, bringing its roster of primarily Midwestern-based artists to the larger art world, and working closely with clients to connect them with artists, giving them a deeper understanding of contemporary art. In 2024, the gallery participated in the European Cultural Centre’s biennial “Personal Structures” exhibition in Venice, Italy, and in 2025, will be showing with SPRING/BREAK Art Show LA in this year’s “Virtual Collection”, and with SPRING/BREAK NY
