GALERIE FREY
Vienna has developed into an important hub for contemporary art since the late 1980s. Following this development, GALERIE FREY opened its gallery in March 2004 in Vienna, presenting established and newly discovered artist positions. The gallery positions itself as a valid platform for contemporary art in recent years. In 2012, GALERIE FREY opened a second gallery space in Salzburg.
For VOLTA Basel, the gallery will present a curated exhibition of the four painters Bernard Ammerer, Johannes Domenig, Jorge Fuembuena, and Harding Meyer, as well as works by the sculptor Pieter Obels.
